Tell us the kind of cloth you buy and the depth you are considering, and we will post a numbered card carrying our palest to deepest indigo so you can compare it against your own projects. Cards are sent from the yard and travel with a short note on how the vat behaves in each season.
Yes. Post us a small cutting or email a photograph taken in daylight, and we will test it against the vat. Because indigo settles as it dries, we will send you a wet reading and a dry reading from the trial dip so you can judge the match honestly before we set a full batch run. If the two readings cannot meet your tolerance, we will say so rather than ship a near miss.
We will dip a single metre for a sample, and many buyers start there before moving to a season run of several hundred metres. Small orders are worked between larger batch runs, so a sample may take a little longer to schedule, but it always goes through the same vat, the same rail and the same twice-over shade check as a full crate. There is no separate low standard for small work.
